Wow, this beautiful pen is made with Padauk wood. Padauk comes from Central Africa as well as the tropical West Africa. The bright reddish orange will darken over time to a reddish/purplish brown. The ink is a Schneider Topball 850, which matches the same as the Pilot G2 pen refills.
